Back to previous page  eblaine1's interesting emporium 2003 Iraq - This is me giving stuffed toys to local children Having recently sold my real estate rental company I have lots of time were I really don't have much to do.  The result, an eBay store.  I primarily sell things of a military nature, Native American art work and license plates.  I also enjoy auctions and yard sales so the end result is obvious - I might have anything listed. I am a strong believer in recycling, despise waste and see eBay as an ideal venue to achieve both ends.  Anything sold finds a new home with someone who wants it.  This prevents it from being wasted.  Most of my listings start at 99 cents or so, this has no bearing on the quality of the item.  Starting the item low saves on listing fees and makes the auction concept more fun. Also, I don't like metered postage, if we all used meters there would be no need for the postal administration to issue stamps and buying postage on-line is fun so if you are a stamp collector or know a stamp collector you are in for a treat. I always will take special care to pack your purchases in such a way that it gets to you in good condition.  In an effort to do my part in the conservation of our planet's resources I reuse boxes, bubble wrap and packing peanuts.  Looking for something special?? Ask, I might have one or know were one is. My cats Dakotah & Smoke - since they always "help" with the listing process they get a picture. I was born in the mid 1960's in Omaha, Nebraska.  I moved to Chadron, Nebraska in 1985.  For education I have a B.A. in history and political science minoring in business management.  I bought my real estate business in 1987 and have slowly expanded ever since.  I opened a car rental company in 1997.  Business is tough in small town America so I've had to be diverse.  In October 2009 I sold my businesses and relocated to my current home in Plattsmouth, NE.  I am nearing retirement from the Nebraska National Guard, I served one tour in Iraq during 2003-2004.  I have also done a tour of hurricane Mitch relief in Honduras, a tour of hurricane Katrina relief in New Orleans, served with the Salt Lake City Olympics security force, spent some time on the US - Mexico border and fought more wild fires then I care to remember.  Check out my eBay "My World" page for the rest of "me" and my business policies and philosophy.
