Dusty Trails is part of the Allenspark Colorado community. Located close to Rocky Mountain National Park, the town boasts a five star restaurant, bed and breakfasts, lodges, ranches, shopping, a wonderful cafe, churches, horseback riding, hiking, fishing and other vacation activities. Located at above 8000 feet the summers are cool and the winters are snowy and blowy! Most businesses are seasonal from May through October. In response to many customers who expressed a desire to be able to access Dusty Trails' goods year round there will be unusual and hand crafted items offered on ebay and in other venues.
As a physical shop Dusty Trails offered a wonderful eclectic choice of goods ranging from vintage and new Native American Indian jewelry; unique upscale jewelry showcasing colored gemstones; award winning raku pottery; hand colored photography; breathtaking scenes of local areas photographed by recognized artists; limited edition bronzes; exquisite polymer clay animals; antiques and a nice selection of gift items. I'm in the process of adding more items. I still have most of the ROXY jewelry and the Native American jewelry to list as well as a LOT of other items. It takes time to photograph, write the description and list the items, doesn't it? Good News! I've connected with one of the fabulous photographers who had his work in my shop and I will be offering some of his prints on this site! So, watch for morninglight.us photos to show up soon! This summer I hope to be able to learn enough about this computer business to be able to create links and do some other wonderful things to increase the goodies available to you! Thanks for taking the time to read this. For those of you who visited the shop, Shadow misses you all terribly. For those of you who didn't, Shadow is a very large Great Pyranese who loved being the greeter for the shop. He was Allenspark's answer to the greeter at that large chain store and many people said they liked him a lot better even if he didn't give them a cart! He can't figure out why we don't go to work now that the weather is warmer. So, if you ever get a white hair stuck in the tape on your package treasure it....it may be his gift to you! (Or it may be MY gift to you, but we don't need to go into how I earned every one of my white hairs, do we?) Come back to this site often and check out the newly added goods! Thanks!
