Being a small business, not a large, impersonal company, allows us to bring a personal touch to each sale and treat our customers as people. "Delighted customers" is always our goal.

We currently sell quality used books (and some brand new), we also sell a variety of things, from high end kitchen items to new DVDs to collectible items to clothing. You never know what we'll find, but be sure that you'll get a real discount. A good way to keep up with what we have for sale is to check our eBay store regularly.

Some of our merchandise are store returns or overstocks, some are used items, some are brand new items that we get from manufacturers at wholesale prices and some are collectible items that we're auctioning for other people (see Trading Assistant below). Used or not, we carefully inspect, and if necessary, test each item.

We offer and prefer Paypal payments for credit cards or eChecks. eChecks will have to clear before we will ship the items.

Other methods are available, please contact us if this is necessary.

We do not usually accept personal checks, but you may pay directly from your checking account through Paypal. If your only option is a personal check, please contact us prior to bidding and we'll try to work something out.

Total shipping and handling costs are always clearly shown in the item description, either as a fixed amount or using a ZIP code - based calculator. Of course you wouldn't bid on any item where the S&H costs were not clearly stated up front, right?

Most of the larger items, those that won't safely fit in a bubble envelope for example, are shipped via DHL Ground Service (formerly Airborne). In our experience, compared to USPS and UPS, DHL has faster delivery, fewer damaged items, and is less expensive for you. For these items, we offer a calculator in each auction so you can figure the shipping and handling costs for your ZIP code before you bid.

Some smaller or lighter items, such as our books, collectible Olympic pins, CDs, and DVDs, may be shipped via USPS for a fixed fee. For these we use either Media Mail or First Class.

Want your item quickly? Although DHL often delivers packages in as little as 2 business days, depending on where they're going, we can arrange overnight delivery for many items. Just contact us with your special shipping needs.

For DHL shipments, insurance (up to $100 in value) is included at no extra charge to you. For USPS shipments, insurance is always optional at your expense, starting at $.65 for the first $100.

Refunds are only given in the rare occasion where an item is not as described or arrives broken. We believe that getting your purchase to you safely is our responsibility.

Items offered "AS IS" will be clearly noted in the item condition section of the auction. These items may be untested or may not work but might be fixable. These items might be real bargains, but do carry some risk, so don't bid if you aren't willing to take the chance.
