Ed Kennedy 18th Century Life

Who I Am

 I am primarily a collector rather than a dealer. My collecting interests run to 18th and 19th century items used in everyday life. I am a reenactor and also have an interest in militaria of the period. In collecting for myself I often acquire things that I don't want and these I put up for sale. I also sell off collections/accumulations for friends.

What I Do

 I am not only a collector but am very active in living history and often give presentations to schools and historical societies. These presentations are always 'show and tell' and so I use my collection in them. The things that I am currently concentrating on are pre-1820 cooking items. I recently published an article in 'Muzzleloader' magazine on correct reenactment cast iron cookware. I have another article in an upcoming issue of the same publication on reenactment cooking.
