Who You Are Doing Business With !
Serving model train enthusiasts and collectors since 1992, N Scale is the main focus of the GATCO business, with Z Scale, and Nn3 Scale aggressively vying for second place. An authorized dealer for several manufacturers of trains and related products, Kato, Atlas, and Micro Trains Lines are the primary companies that are stocked extensively. Other scales and train supplies not in our inventory are available via special order.
With over a seventeen years of experience, we gained a lot of knowledge. Although we could never know it all, we are happy to share our acquired information. If we can not answer your question immediately, we will attempt to find the answer for you. If it beyond our realm of expertise, we are happy to suggest a source that might be of help.
Paddington & Wehr, a GATCO company, publishes reference and price guides. The guides are available in January, and July. The guide reports auction prices with the month and year paid from the national auctions only, including the most recent and the all time high price ever paid for each car. The guide does not report ebay sales. All known variations of each car are listed. . The books are spiral bound and can be purchased individually or as a set. Auto-ship can be arranged for the monthly Micro Trains Line releases, either in their entirety or selected items. The Paddington & Wehr guides can also be auto-shipped to you. Our prices, both on and off ebay are extremely competitive and we strive hard to preserve our proven track record of satisfied customers.

Doing Business With Us
Shipping:
Shipping is ALWAYS combined. We can ship a lot of N, Z, and Nn3 scale for $6.75. Our system generates a winner's email for each auction, but is not capable of combining shipping for auctions won on different days. Shipping will be combined when the sales receipt is processed for your order.Shipping is not a profit center. We would just like to recover our costs. Not all shipping supplies are free, nor does the person packing all the boxes work just for fun.
With the belief that the less time spent in transit, the less chance the package will be misdirected, we utilize only Priority Mail or Expresse Mail. We cannot compete with the casual seller who ships via first class mail. Over 8,000 packages a year exit our warehouse destined for our customers via the United States Postal Service.
Exclusive of weekends and holiday orders are shipped within 24-48 hours of receiving payment.
Insurance:
The shipping charge does NOT include insurance. Insurance is highly recommended for shipments with values in excess of $50.00. GATCO is not responsible for uninsured shipments that do not reach you or are delivered damaged.If you desire insurance on your domestic shipment, please add:
International insurance rates are similar; however international shipping rates are considerably higher than detailed in the ebay listing to comply with rate classifications of the US Postal Service.
Accepted Payment Forms:
Paypal is NOT an acceptable form of payment.
Credit Card Users: Mail, e-mail or call in the required information. If you have security concerns using email, divide your card information into two or more separate emails. Required card information: Card Number Name as it appears on the Card Expiration date The three numbers from the back of the card To expedite processing, credit card information is kept on file from past transactions. Each new winning bid must be authorized via e-mail, phone, or US mail. Winning bids are NOT automatically processed. If using a card we have on file, for verification, please include the last four digits of the card, and expiration date. Please include the ebay item numbers.
Privacy & Security: Everyone who does business with us is entered into our database. If you have given us authorization to use a credit card, that number is also entered into the database. For security reasons the computer holding the database is NOT connected to the internet and all paperwork is shredded. We do NOT sell or rent our database to anyone for any reason. All hard copies containing credit card information are shredded for your protection.
