I am disabled and not able to collect disablility, so I dabble here and there on ebay. I started out by buying things for my soon to be grandaughter, now I have 2. I was disappointed with what my daughter had received, and I thought I could get the baby clothes cleaner and better looking than that, so that's what  I did. Then I decided to started buying things here and there at rummage sales if the price was right. I just started this year with plants. I sold about 20 of my crown of thorns plants.

That was 2004, this year 2005 at the end of January,  I'm going to start my own ebay store. I started buying at discount from wholesalers and so check out my store. I want to earn enough points for at least the minimum social security down the road. and this is probably the only way I can do it. If your in the same situation or even if your not, but would like a few suggestions getting started, contact me, I'd be happy to help you with at least  what I know so far, There's always more to learn and ebay keeps changing and growing.

I do a lot of things, depending on how I feel that day so, I should be able to sell a wide variety of items.

In addition to God and my family and friends, my true passion is gardening, and making something out of next to nothing, I've been told I have been blessed with a knack for both, so why not profit from it. Both you and me.

I'll continue to grow plants and when I divide them I'll sell them too, and collect seeds to sell, mostly perennials and maybe more easy to ship house plants or annuals. Because what's annual up in WI may be perennial where you live like my lantana which I bring inside in the winter but they barely make it till spring, but propagate fairly easy. Keep watching, things will be changing and I'll have new things added all the time.

Just resently my husband lost his job, now it's just unemployment while he goes back to school. 30 yrs. ago you could work your way up in a company, but somewhere that changed and now without an education, it's almost impossible to find a job without one. We are both approaching 50 and we were trying to look to see what jobs are in the future. It seems to be any type of service type job. No one does anything themselves anymore, so he's getting a degree in heating and air conditioning, hopefully in the servicing division. He has Arthritis and it's getting harder for him to work also. Maybe if I make enough he can work for me, although since he's been off of work he makes a great house keeper and I don't even have to ask (he's tring to avoid doing his school work). Maybe he could just retire. (Wishful thinking!)

Well,  that's where we are for now, God uses all things for his good according to his riches and glory, and even if we lose everything. It's just stuff, we have each other and most of all we have an eternity brighter and better than anything down here. God bless you all real good!!!
