PAYMENT METHODS & DETAILS, TAXES
I prefer Paypal payments or money orders. I also accept checks, but items paid for by check will be held until the check clears, up to 7-10 days (but usually much less). Please note that items paid for by check through Paypal are still subjective to the hold period.
Serious bidders and buyers only, please. Contact is required within 3 days, and payment is due within 7 days of auction close or purchase date, unless special arrangements are made. After this time period the Unpaid Item Process will be started and negative feedback will be left. I apologize if this seems harsh, I just want to keep things efficient for everyone involved.
To keep the government off my back, I do need to collect 5% sales tax on people in Massachusetts who are buying anything that is not clothing or shoes. Sorry, hopefully you understand. If you don, please don buy things from me and then complain about this.
SHIPPING & INSURANCE
I do NOT unnecessarily inflate shipping costs. Occasionally certain items require packaging that is somewhat more expensive for safe arrival, and I share these costs with you.
Shipping is by USPS priority mail (or first class mail for lighter items) with delivery confirmation. Insurance is not required, but is strongly suggested as I unfortunately cannot be responsible for an item once it is handed off to the delivery service. Insurance is offered at the following rates:
$1.45 for up to $50.00
$2.45 for $50.01 to $100.00
$3.45 for $100.01 to $200.00
$4.45 for $200.01 to $300.00
$5.45 for $300.01 and up
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS
International shipping varies quite a bit, so buyers should email for a shipping quote.
Items that are small enough (and NOT fragile) usually ship by USPS Global Priority Mail for a flat rate of $6.00.
Unfortunately, insurance is not available to international buyers at this time. Please contact me if you have questions about shipping options available to your country.
RETURNS
I cannot at this time afford to accept returns except if items are grossly misrepresented in the listing. I am very conscious of packing items properly for shipping, so damage caused during the shipping process needs to be directed toward the shipping service. Basically, if youe really worried about damage during shipping (and I have my paranoid moments where the USPS seems to have it out for me), please consider paying extra for insurance. That being said, I am not unreasonable, so if you have a problem (not buyer remorse! I have this sometimes and I NEVER take it out on the person who sold me the item) with a purchase you have made, please contact me and I will be happy to discuss the situation with you.
