About the Artist...

Introduced to the art of Japanese Washi paper during her many years living in Tokyo, Japan, this artist has brought her interest back to the United States and has been helping this particular type of paper-craft art grow in popularity over the last five years. Her special interests are in the art of Washi Beads and her own personal Washi Pendant designs.

With over twenty different types and styles of pendants and beads, what is offered on ebay is just a glimpse of what is available. She has done custom work for professional craft artisans and jewelry studios, and also sells bulk quantities at wholesale prices to bead-and-craft show merchants nationwide.

She was adopted from Jakarta, Indonesia  but spent her first 14 years traveling throughout East Asia living in Japan and Singapore, and traveling through-out Hong Kong, Thailand, and the smaller islands of Indonesia and Malaysia with her family. From this international exposure she has enjoyed many opportunities to learn many different types of ethnic, handmade crafts and meld these ancient and traditional styles to create her own unique style of  craft jewelry.
