I'm collecting coins since 1987 when I was in my elementary years. I started collecting when my sister bought me a small handy book about coins. First, I bought all kinds of world coins in any size and and any type of denominations and year. From there, my interest gradually improved until such time my collections becomed huge. Then I started to specialized in a particular area to make my numismatic hobby more organized and meaningful.
Currently I specialized in Philippine old silver crowns from 17th century up to the 1970's. Such crowns include coins from Central and South American region, European, Oriental as well as other large size coins from various countries that has been circulating at par. Since Philippines is the center of galleon trade in the west and in the orient for more than 250 years, various silver crowns are indeed a necessity in commerce. This lead me to expand my collections in broader aspect. I sell my duplicates to finance my collection as I updated them from time to time.
