I'm glad you stopped by to learn more about me! My name is Sandra, I'm 33 years old and am the PROUD stay at home, homeschooling mom to 4 precious kids!!! I have twin boys, Ethan and Isaac -9 years old, and two girls, Emma 4 years and Claire 3 years. I have been married for 12 years to the love of my life and my passions are my children, photography, crafting, sewing, reading, writing, and eBay! I LOVE having my children home with me everyday and helping them learn all about life! I am so proud to be homeschooling my children....what a privilege! I can honestly say that there is NO other thing that I love more... and contrary to popular belief, homeschooling is not hard. It is, in fact, very joyful and completely awesome to watch your children learn their academic lessons as well as life lessons right before your eyes! And, the great thing is that they can learn in just a few hours a day what it takes the traditional schools to teach them in 6-8 hours a day! Homeschool is fantastic with more than enough opportunities for socialization and TONS of hands-on activities to participate in! The relationship you can build with your children is the biggest reward ~ the value of family along with the value of truly loving one another and showing love and respect to family members in an unconditional manner is a lesson that seems magnified in most homeschool families that we know. I also LOVE photography and am going to focus a lot more of my attention to this subject! I want to learn, learn, learn ~ as much as I can about children's photography in particular! Pictures have, for as long as I remember, touched me in a way that no movie possibly could! To me, they are the best way to remember the special things in life. So many memories can be found in a single snap shot! They can whisk you back in time to that particular place in your heart and mind and soul where the feeling and memories run deepest. For me, there is no material object more precious than photographs! !
I LOVE to shop for my girls' clothes on eBay. I love the selection and the prices and the great people I meet along the way! I am also able to dress my daughters in such unique clothing - many of my favorites can't even be found here in south Alabama! We love the traditional southern staples like smocked dresses, short sets, and capri sets from Amanda Remembered, Anavini, and Strasburg, just to name a few. I also ADORE the European brands like Cakewalk, Oilily and Catimini. I also LOVE the custom boutique outfits that are on eBay right now ~ such beautiful work by all these incredibly talented artists/seamstresses! And, as for shoes... Bear Feet are my personal favorite! So adorable and super-comfortable for little feet. They also perfectly complete those adorable boutique finds! Although Bear Feet are my favorites, we also like Stride Rite, Keds, Naturino, Willits and pink Converse! You can never have too many shoes, though!
Aside from buying, my "other" favorite eBay activity is selling! I love being able to take care of my daughters' clothing and know that I can pass them along to other little girls when we're done. Ebay moms are the greatest and we come to know each other's styles and clothing quality and look forward to each season's listings! I sell mostly my girls' gently used clothing, but I occasionally list some new things as well. I always inspect each item and am very honest in my listings about their condition. I would never sell something I wouldn't want one of my children to wear.
