The M.L. Brown Company, Engravers
It's been a good while now since I started this business; 1987. You know, it's not new machines or being able to call up 1,000 different fonts that make a good engraver. The main ingredient, beyond experience of course, is caring about what you do; trying to help, rather than just servicing your customers. It tickles my vanity that some of my feedback touches that very topic.
What my wife & I have done all these years is build a small business that provides engraved name plates to furniture & cabinet makers. We have customers in every state. If you've visited our store then you know much of what we've done is merely transfered our business on line.
I expect there will continue to be new items appearing in our store & in the auction. You see making things for people, as opposed to companies, is turning out to be my idea of fun. There are lots of things an engraver can do & make. I'm thoroughly enjoying myself exploring new ideas & trying them out. Who knows? Maybe I'll come up with something that would appeal to You..
Lastly, I'd like to say that as an engraver, I offer a service. While my equipment limits me to engraving flat objects; within that realm we have a lot more capability than the products in our lisitings would suggest. If you have a job, I'd welcome the opportunity to give you a quote on it. You have only to ask.
Best, Mike
