Equinox Outfitters Equinox Outfitters sells new and used ski and snowboard equipment and clothing for people of all ages. I started my Ebay business six years ago in the basement of my house in Vermont and bought inventory at ski shop clearance sales and local ski swaps. A couple years ago, my business outgrew my basement and I moved it into a small warehouse, and started purchasing large lots of equipment from wholesale brokers throughout New England. Buying in larger volume allows me to have better economies of scale and I pass the price discounts on to my customers. My feedback rating is testament to the dedication I bring to my business in terms of being honest, friendly, and fair in all my transactions as well as customer service. The Ebay business is actually my side job. I am a biologist by profession (I received a PhD in plant genetics) and taught for eight years at the college level before landing a job as Director of Scientific Affairs at a major marketer of raw material ingredients (medicinal herbal extracts; antioxidants) for the dietary supplement and functional food and beverage industries. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor Vermont activities like hiking and canoeing, as well as gardening, folk dancing, and spending time with my family. I also speak Italian, having learned it living and traveling in Italy over the past 20 years.
