We have recently moved to New York as my husband retired from the US Navy at the end of August. My children (Jakie who's 7 and Sam who's 10) are both growing too quickly out of their clothing--especially Sam, at this point--so I have a lot to offer. When I attend events around town, or out of state, I'm always on the look out for interesting items to pass on via eBay. I also sell items my friends & family no longer have use for, or things they have outgrown. I try to check around town for deals to pass on, but usually can't find anything, so mostly what I offer is gently used. I have also tried to add to my eBay blog on a fairly regular basis, but it's hard. Thanks to all who read and comment!

Feedback. Ahhh, what to say about it. Ebay decided to change it, and I have worked hard to keep it stellar, which is very difficult with the new system. I, as a seller, now have nothing to say about feedback. I leave it right after someone pays, regardless of how long it takes them to pay, how often I have to remind them, and regardless of whether they follow my policies. I do this because I am scared of negative feedback. I recently got neutral feedback because a woman expected the item to be more than it was, and clearly disregarded my item listing. As I guess she can, since I have absolutely no retaliation. Can you tell I HATE the new policy? Let's start a campaign to adjust it, again.
My eBay experience has been so positive, and I love to introduce my friends and family to the thrill (well, to me it is). I have been eBaying for over TEN YEARS and recall the first purchase I made: a green Old Navy 6-9 month hoodie for my as yet unborn daughter, who is now 10.
I ONLY sell to be able to BUY on eBay, so if I have no cash in my Paypal account I'm out of luck! That's why I try to always have something listed.
I never overcharge on shipping. My philosophy about eBay is, if you want a certain amount for your item, start the bidding at that amount. I don't believe that overcharging on shipping to make up for the price you want to get is fair and I myself NEVER bid on anything that has an outrageous shipping and handling fee, and so I would never expect you to pay it on mine. Actually, my shipping is probably off more often than it's correct, and I sometimes have to pay out of pocket because I have under-estimated! I usually start bidding at .99 because it's cheaper to list at that price (eBay charges a fee to list, you knew that!). I do hope people realize that it's not because that is what I think my items are worth! I also tend to look at the cheaper items first when buying myself, & figure almost everyone else does the same!
