Avid numismatist specializing in 1929 National Bank Notes from the Ohio Valley area including Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
All 1929 National Bank notes are of interest regardless of region inlcuding Federal Reserve notes. In addition, collecting includes, Gold Certificates, North African notes and Hawaiian emergency notes and a few error notes and star notes. The lime green 1928 and 1934 series have the most unique serial and garner higher demands lately.
Also of interest in our collection including 1902 Plain Back & Date Back, 1882 Date Back, Value Back, Brown Back and Original Series notes. Of tertiary interests would include any other post Civil War U.S. currency.
As the son of a bank executive from a bank that issued National Bank notes, I've always had a particular interest in the local banks that issued National Bank Notes thru the end of the Great Depression. Nonetheless, it was actually my uncle that started my numismatic interest by way of coins from the U.S. but coin collecting has ceased in favor of paper currency.
Over the last thirty years, I've enjoyed the camaraderie of other numismatists and I'm ever so grateful to many buyers and sellers including those from Ebay for the share of information as there is always something to glean from one another. I've enjoyed the time to establish a substanital learning base to accumulate a large collection we are proud of.
Notes offered for sale are presented to release back into the hands of others that will value notes as much as I've come to enjoy collecting. Only occasionally will I offer notes for sale so when you see them, if you show interest, grab it while you can. Occasionally, if a note offered for sale is not sold, it may likely be returned to our collection portfolio.
Numismania - Catch it!
It's not just fun anymore, it's an investment!!!
Best regards to all,
