Ed Smith
I graduated from Ball State University with a BS and an MA in art education. I have taught art in elementary and High School and has been active in developing and teaching design classes for adults.
For several years Iowned a company that designed and manufactured handcrafted gifts and floral designs for the wholesale market. Today I divide my time as a free lance florist, artist, and designer. Over 200 of my designs have been published in magazines, on web sites, and as project sheets. My book Making Classic Wreaths was published by Sterling Publishers in 2004 and my latest book Classic Floral Designs will be released in November 2005 . Wall Flowers for All Seasons was published by Grace Publications in 2003.
My passion for creating art includes painting, mixed media works and fiber. Currently I am enjoying creating mixed media collages and ACEO artist cards. My art has been shown in galleries in Indianapolis.
