About Us and Our Young Living Products, Essential Oils, and Accessories

We use only Young Living Essential Oils in our multi-faith community ministry because they "feel" right for us. We see them as an integral part of our tool kit for natural healing. The use of quality therapeutic grade oils and natural products can help everyone maintain (or regain) a healthy vibration in the midst of daily lives that often disrupt the harmony we prefer.

Our ministry is focused on helping individuals "re-member" how powerful and special they are. We use teaching, sharing, prayer, healing touch, energy work, essential oils and natural supplements to bring alignment to Body, Mind and Spirit.

After trying many essential oils from various sources, I have found Young Living to be the BEST choice for me and my family. I have had less than satisfactory results with some oils from other suppliers so I no longer play that expensive guessing game. With Young Living I know I am receiving therapeutic grade oils that have passed Young Living's stringent in-house quality control tests. Their products are also cruelty-free. Young Living does not test their products on animals.

I am a natural energy empath and have always had a high sensitivity to the energies in the environment. I exclusively use Young Living Oils because I have found the quality to be excellent as well as consistent.

I believe self-education is imperative before using any substance either on or in your body. Everything in our lives affects our well-being. From foods to oils to emotions, I encourage everyone to become more aware of the effects your daily choices have on your total wellness.

The Use of Essential Oils

This is not "New Age" medicine!

Many of our grandmothers knew the value of simple plants and herbs. Somewhere in the pace of our busy lives we have lost that knowledge. With the convenience of having these high quality, therapeutic grade oils to work with, we can bring a portion of that wonderful wisdom back into our homes.

Essential Oils have played a part in beauty and health since the ancient times of the Pharaohs and even longer.

Just what are "Essential Oils" ?

In nature, the essences of a plant are the vital fluids that maintain plant life. To obtain most oils, this essence is retrieved by a process known as distillation . Therapeutic Grade essential oils come from carefully monitored distillation of these precious essences. Proper distillation is crucial in assuring that the "essence-all" components of the plants are captured without destroying the life-giving properties of the essence. There are many grades of essential oils on the market but only those labeled as Therapeutic Grade can be relied upon for therapeutic effects. The lesser grade oils are usually over-refined (improper distillation) or cut with unhealthy chemicals. Other grades of oils may smell nice but they will have no advantageous therapeutic effect. They can even be hazardous to your health. Not all oils labeled as "Essential Oil" are safe for therapeutic use even if the label says 100% or PURE. The FDA does not regulate essential oil labeling or quality and terms such as 100% or PURE mean little towards assuring that you are receiving an oil that has been properly tested for safe Therapeutic use. Oils without the Therapeutic Grade label may also contain chemicals that can cause serious side-effects. There are oils on the market labeled as "Pure" that contain only 5 % of essential oil and the other 95% are man-made chemicals. All essential oils offered by Young Living have undergone additional in-house testing. This assures that you are receiving an essential oil that is not contaminted by pesticides or chemical dilutants.

ABOUT SAFE OIL USE:
Please act responsibly when using essential oils.

We highly recommend that you educate yourself before using any essential oil from any supplier. Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils are very concentrated and should be used respectfully. Only oils labeled as Therapeutic Grade should be used internally or topically. Only Young Living certified oils should be used in the manner suggested in our listings or the Young Living website. As with any concentrated substance, store your oils safely away from pets and small children.

You can find people selling open/used Young Living products. All Young Living Distributors sign an agreement to not repackage or sell open Young Living products. Those with integrity will never offer an opened product for sale. The only way to ensure that the product you receive meets Young Living's standards is by purchasing sealed products. When you purchase opened products or samples, you have no way of knowing if the item has been contaminated or tampered with. It may have been improperly stored, diluted with less expensive or inferior oils, contaminated with body fluids, etc. Your health and safety are worth much more than the risk you are taking by purchasing opened products. Those sellers who deserve your trust are commited to principles of Honesty, Integrity and your Highest Good and would not violate their agreement with Young Living by selling opened products.

We wish we could ensure that you make an informed decision about using essential oils but we cannot control how you choose to use these products. We recommend the purchase of the Essential Oils Desk Reference (ver 4) to help you make wise choices. It will answer your questions about safe oil use and help you select oils for you area of need.
