Records and CDs mainly 50's to 70's music - particularly all types of rock (progressive, psychedelic, folk, classic, hard etc.). Also some jazz, folk and pop.
Well hello!
Welcome to Estebans 'About Me' page.
My name's Steve and I've just reached my half century (a claim most England cricketers can't make).
I'm married with three daughters and 2 cats - so somewhat hen-pecked.
However after work (yes I do have a proper job) I can escape into the world of Ebay where I sell and buy music - and a few other bits 'n' pieces).
It's mainly vinyl & CD's, which I buy privately around my home town of Southport - apparently we export sand to Saudi Arabia - and no I'm not joking !
My vinyl is graded, by eye, according to Record Collector definitions. I haven't got the time to listen to it all!!. However I have a 'refund if not happy' policy, so no risk....other than the postage.
Anyway before I bore you into falling asleep - make that bid - and good luck with it.
The Thoughts of Chairman Esteban
I have one gripe with Ebay........
I always report non-payers, I think it's only fair to other sellers to do so. However when the 'non-payer' return's, without justification, a negative feedback in retaliation, Ebay will do nothing about it.
If you check my feedback, apart from one breakage and one grading dispute (not bad out of around 4,000 sales) these are what my negatives are for.
However.....I will continue to do it and I encourage other sellers to be brave - even though it may affect our feedback, because otherwise we're allowing a small minority to spoil a fantastic international trading system. A system where someone at the end of your road can pick up that missing record from their collection - or someone on the other side of the world can obtain a record never available in their country.
Don't let the timewasters spoil it.....they shall not pass.... we'll fight them on the beaches....
Ok, I'll get off my soapbox now and no my 'proper' job isn't politics - well politics isn't a proper job anyway is it.....
I'm far too ugly to post a picture - it may stop you buying from me :-)
