My Business Background:

I launched Ethereal Enchantments on eBay in the Spring of 2005. While I had been making my wares for many years I never actually considered making it an 'official' business. Lots of people became interested in my items... one friend would tell another friend, and then that one would tell another, so on and so on... and then one thing led to another and off I went! Things were going strong and business was growing both online and off, when life decided to throw a few surprises my way. Unfortunately, I lost most of my belongings.. including everything used in my business. From the smallest bottle of Fragrance Oil to the 60lb boxes of wax.. all gone (not to mention everything else we use in life.. clothes, my childrens things, ect).

Life is back on track now and I am so very happy to get my store going again!

My business is on a much smaller scale than it used to be. I no longer have a storefront, so I am currently selling online and at some generally small local shows/venues/festivals/bazaars. I have no plans to open a brick & mortar store as with a busy family life I like knowing I can put all my efforts into my online store and my shows. This will ensure that I can provide only the best quality (concrete & magickal) for my customers. A burnt-out witch is never a good thing when it comes to magick!

My Magickal Background:

Witchcraft comes very naturally for me. Always knowing I was "different" in a sense, I first stumbled across what would become a life-long learning adventure at the age nine when I found one of my aunts old school witchcraft books. Being a long time ago, this book wasn't exactly a valuable learning tool, but what it did was awaken something in me that I somehow had always known was there. Sort of like coming home after having been away far too long.

I didn't start actually practicing until I was about thirteen. Luckily, I have a very supportive and understanding Mother, who also practices, so the Witchcraft world was my Oyster! From then on, I haven't stopped! Life truly is an adventure to learn from. As the old saying goes.. it's not about the destination, but rather the journey. I have spent many years learning and growing as an individual and as a Witch. I have a love for all things herbal, so this is an area of interest I have spent a great deal of time on. From working with herbs in a more typical gardening sense to working with them magickally, there is much knowledge to be gained from their powerful energy!

In my late teen years I came across something that opened up a whole new world to my life as a Witch. Vodou. A second home-coming had arrived. No, not your scary Hollywood crap of sacrificing babies and walking around as brain-eating zombies. Sorry, you won't find that in Vodou, but rather in the imaginations of some very ignorant people! Without going to great lengths I will simply say Haitian Vodou encompasses a great deal of tradition, ancestor reverence, and a working relationship with the Lwa. It teaches something of faith, unity, discipline, tradition, and loyalty that I have been fortunate enough to welcome into my life.

I spend these days tending to my Family and hand-crafting my items. I continue to learn all I can about Herbalism, Magick, Vodou, Witchcraft, Spirituality, Aromatherapy, Reiki, and Life in general!

I've never been very good at describing myself in word, so at the most, I hope this gives you a glimpse as to who I am. More importantly, I'd like everyone to know that all the products I create are made with the utmost attention to quality. Everything I make, I use myself as well. I have many, many years of experience under my belt now and in all honesty I wouldn't want to use something that didn't work and I certainly don't expect you to either!
