Thank you for visiting my About Me page -- I hope you will consider following me on Twitter or visiting my blog. I used to live in the Redwoods of the Pacific Northwest, in the only US town ever to be destroyed by a Tidal Wave (Tsunami). I jokingly referred to my hometown as being "Behind the Redwood Curtain" because it's 2 and 3 hrs away from the nearest city; Medford, Oregon to the north, and Eureka, California to the south. As the crow flies or as Yahoo maps might try to tell you, it's only 120 miles north or 90 miles south, but neither Yahoo nor the crow takes into account the narrow winding roads that have many areas with speed limits of 15 to 30 mph! However, in January of 2009 I left the redwoods and moved to Austin, Texas, where I'm currently enjoying the sunshine and the treasure hunting.
I love books, so you'll be seeing a lot of those here. I also sell the best jerky on the planet as far as I'm concerned. If I don't have any jerky up for sale at the moment, contact me on Twitter and I'll put some up just for you. I also love glass, but I've got so much now I need to start sharing my stash, so if you're a glass lover I hope you will bookmark my site and check back.
My husband, Bob, creates one-of-a-kind hard wood, butcher block cutting boards that are exquisite in beauty and quality. We have been selling them at various gift shops and at art shows, and now are bringing them to the world on eBay.
