My name is Tina and I live in the great mid-west. I have been helping my friend Jeanne (jahershberger) with her beads for several years now. We have had a lot of fun together & I have learned so much both from Jeanne and from the lovely people I have met. Spring of 2007, I decided branch out on my own. Jeanne and I still work together often. I like traveling and adventure. I don’t get to travel as much as I would like to – but I get adventure! Well, as much as a stay at home mom can get from the great Midwest! When people from places I want to go to buy from me, I dream that I am going too.
Also, I love the fact that my beads come from long ago and far, far away. I think what was it like in Japan when these faux pearls were created? My father in law was a war refugee in the American sector of Germany after WWII, so many of my beads come from West Germany. How that country has changed in the past 100 years! I was in Austria in 1980 and remember the check points to the “East” or Soviet ruled countries. And don’t even get me started on Italy. In the past couple of years both my parents and in-laws have spent time in Italy. I want to go, but in the mean time I will admire their beautiful Moonglow Lucite. Like I said I like adventure and history is an adventure.
I’m a redhead, which means that I like the out of the ordinary. Hey, when I was growing up (and dinosaurs roamed) redheads were different. I try to find beads that are out of the ordinary and I love it when people send me photos or links to the art that they create with beads. I am amazed at how creative people can be. So, if you like my beads add evarose1900 to your favorites and send me information on how I can see your creations. Hey, I might even add you to my favorites! I always tell my friends that the best thing about selling beads is I get to help people create amazing things. Then they get to wear, sell or give that art to others who will be touched and we all are connected through my beads.
