hi, i am a two dimensional artist working from the  windy plains of texas. my formal training is as a painter and printmaker [etching]. i also  exhibit photography. i am usually doing experimental work, though an occassional bout of realism keeps me focused. i write columns for two art journals and exhibit regionally. i have taught art related workshops in several countries.  iat times i have the opportunity to do volunteer work in art related areas such as obtaining supplies for the state schools and furnished doll houses for centers that assist abused or chronically ill children. my ebay finds help meet these goals. but my most frequent way to reach out is  to cook meals for elderly families.

A STUDIO EVIE FOURTH OF JULY

i love to cook and try new recipes.  my most fun spare time non-family  activity is  paper doll designing. i submit paper dolls to several magazines. i also furnish doll houses  to give away. my husband and i moved back to west texas  after being away for many years. it is wonderful to be near our families and to share in the joy of our two little granddaughters [the sparkles in my day]. i love ebaying and the whole auction process. it reminds me of teaching workshops in central and south america and negotiating for everything. tedious then, fun now!
