J.R.--The Cowgirl (ca. 1956)

My eBay story starts with a desire to clean out the guest room closet--it seems I was born with an 'eye' for eclectic stuff. As a child, my mother took me with her to rummage sales and I grew up to follow in my mother's footsteps.

What do I sell??  Anything vintage/antique/unusual...or reusable.  I have made a dent in the closet, but then my mother decided she needed help cleaning out her closets.  So you will find items up for sale that also belong to her.  And occasionally friends will ask "Can you sell this for me?"   Someday...MY closet will be in order!!  In the meantime, I'm having a lot of fun selling and have even made a few new friends in the process. 

And occasionally I thin out my rubber stamp collection - to make room for new stamps I buy on eBay (yes, I sell to support my habit...)  I'm a mixed-media artist who uses stamps in combination with found objects and paint on paper/cloth/you name it.  What fun!

I'm also a Jazzercise instructor so you may find Jazzercise related items up for sale.  I have a huge collection of 45's from my early years of teaching that I need to sell one of these days....

You might call me the "Green" gal - I love recycling items...finding homes for things where they will be used or appreciated.  Occasionally I receive emails from buyers telling me why they bought one of my items.  My favorite so far was from a woman who purchased a hanging Christmas advent calendar to replace her family heirloom that had been lost in the Katrina floods.  Stories like that make my day!
