How Did I Get Here? I never thought I would have a store on Ebay. I never even bought anything on Ebay before I started my store. I did however know that I had to do something to justify all the time I spent wondering around flea markets, antiques shows and estate sales, usually shopping for other people and rarely buying anything for myself. It seemed that there was always something I was drawn to and I would immediately say, " oh so and so would love this. I can't count how many times I have gone ahead and gotten that item, given it to the person and had them say, "I never would have picked this out but look how great it looks on the mantle, or in my kitchen. It's perfect!" Thus would start the job of becoming their personal shopper/decorator. My mom has always had a knack for finding treasure, which I have tried to cultivate in myself. She still finds 10 great things for every one I find, but like me she always gives them away. I love to have things but get bored and want a change eventually. Sentimental items are another story, but I like constant change in my surroundings, so this is perfect for me. I can live with cool things until I find the person who thiks it is perfect, then send it on. This frees me up to go out looking again, and there you go, that is where my store comes in. I very rarely sell things that I don't personally like, unless I know it to be highly sought after or very unusual. My favorite part of having the store is findng out a little about the people who buy my items. I find it very interesting to see who likes what, and wants what and why. Ebay is a pretty cool community and dealing with people all over the world has been very interesting, and educational. Please take some time to look over my items for sale. Inventory changes all the time and you will find a diverse listing almost every time. You will find my prices usually on the low side, because I will only buy if it is a good deal. Pricing goes according to how much I paid as the minimum to about mid range in comparative pricing. If you think the price is high, compare. I have to be very confident of an items worth to charge a lot, and that usually means I am sure of its history. I never profit on shipping, barely cover costs. If there is a handling charge listed, there is a good reason. I pack very well and haven't had anything break since I sent out my first plate.Thanks for looking, questions and comments are always welcome.
