Welcome to Fantasy Sculpts Studios.  I am a performing and visual artist.  I sculpt one-of-a-kind figurative sculptures, (artist dolls).  My work has been described as whimsical, highly expressive and stylized. I pride myself in my emphasis on style and expression rather than sophistication or realism.   I also am proud that my dolls/sculpts don't look like everyone elses.  My work has been purchased from collectors from around the world.  I am best known for my gnomes and witches.  I never use molds, not even for proportion purposes.  I sculpt mostly in oil-based clays and mixed media.  My influences are theatre, puppetry and I also love the facial expressions of vintage Rushton toys.  If you like my art, buy it!  Because I bounce between being a performing artist and a visual artist, there are often stretches of times, sometimes 6 to 9 months, when I don't sculpt at all-- like when I am in a show or tour.  So if you see one of my characters that you like, bid on him/her as I don't sculpt year-round consistently.  When I do work on these creations, I spend days in the design and creation of each piece.
