Hey Beadie Buddies! My name is Julia Lund and I am obsessed with making beads..OK!...OK!...I admit it! But first and foremost I am a wife to my handsome Norwegian husband Lowell and the mother of 5 kids: Gracie 13..Lily 11..Kate 9..Spencer 9..and Nicky who is 6 going on 20. We own a hobby farm..well..lets just say it is not really a hobby as it takes a lot of work during a day to make it all stay together. We live in an old farm house and try to live organically off the land we have been blessed with. It is an easy going life.

I have been lampworking for a little over 6 years now and love it. It is truly a gift to get to live my dream of being an artist and to have my own business. I have a Fabulous studio in one of our pole barns. This last year we redid it and made it much larger. More room to start some fusing projects I have had my mind wrapped around this last year or so. A huge new kiln and more work space should make them happen.

I love eBay!! What a great sellers market and what a way to reach so many of you with my art form. I have been selling on ebay 5 years and have had such luck so far with great customers! I make new beads every week. I try to watch the trends in colors, shapes and sizes and to make beads accordingly. And then sometimes I just make whatever comes to mind. My favorite beads to make are hollows. I especially love to see what I can do new with them. In my quest I have created "The Dichrollow" and my "Cocoon Series" and of course my "Chique" beads. All unique to me. I love to make vessels also...while most of my vessels are more decorative than functional...I think they are beautiful just the same.

I try to list every week and keep items in my store....I always have mini hollows for sale. They are great little bubbles to add to any design. They make fabulous earrings too!
