Hello my name is Cheryl and I love finding awesome and unusual items to decorate with, which brought me to Ebay years ago so I could share my finds with you.

   I've  met so many nice people and they are always asking about my home which they see in my backround Pictures so I decided I  would  feature pictures of my home and decorating style from time to time . I will change these pictures often, or you can visit  Theold paintedcottage.com  where my home is featured as  COTTAGE OF THE MONTHS (MAY & JULY 2006). And recently OCTOBER 2008. you can view these in Jennifer's Archives Page on her site. I am also happy that I was chosen to have my home in  ROMANTIC COUNTRY MAGAZINE in 2006 in the 98 DREAM ROOMS EDITION. and just out ROMANTIC COUNTRY  Summer2009

 I love many different decorating styles, Shabby Chic,  Paris Apt.  Primatives, French and Romantic Cottage.  I incorporate it all into my home.  I love Old Wicker (The shabbier the better) Old Oil Paintings and I can never Pass up an Old Floral Picture with Old Wavy Glass.!  I also love bringing the outside in so I only use French Net Lace on my windows and I have a thing for Old Cement Birdbaths and Old Cement garden decor. I love to group Old etched Mirrors together and I love old crusty Tole.  I also collect White Matt Pottery Vases, Barbola and Old Wicker Funeral Baskets. Currently I have 180 Rose Bushes in my garden (Oh did I mention I love Roses).
