As my screen name suggests, I am a bamboo rod enthusiast with a special enthusiasm for the rods made by Fred Thomas and his son Leon (plus a few other guys).  I live in Bend, Oregon, where it is easy to fish entirely too much. When I am not fishing, I buy and sell classic tackle at the NFLCC Northwest regionals, Lang's fall show and auctions, the Camp Sherman Bamboo show, Santa Rosa Sporting Collectibles Show,  and other selected locations.  I am always interested in buying quality sporting goods, especially Hardy reels, good bamboo fly rods, and Portland creels.
