Buyer's responsibility to purchase Insurance coverage
Please be aware that, unless you have purchased insurance on your parcel (which is nearly always available), we cannot be held responsible for items "lost in the mail". Insurance is recommended. For most items sent within Canada it would cost $1.00 more than the listed shipping cost to have insurance. The prices vary to other destinations so please contact us.
Please note that insurance only guarantees that the item will arrive - it does not guarantee the speed of the delivery and does NOT insure for damages. The insurance through the post office will absolutely NOT guarantee the condition of the item upon arrival though we do package well to better ensure its safe arrival.
In other words, we, as sellers, offer Insurance as an option. The Buyer is responsible for purchasing insurance. Therefore, the Buyer bears the risk of loss or damage of the item. We, as seller, shall be responsible only for good packaging and delivering the item to the carrier. FOB at Origin.
