Me Lobbying Congress in 2006 - What Fun!!!

Hi!  My name is Cheryl Bernstein.  I am a Certified Financial Planner.  I have been a financial planner for over 15 years (don't ask how much over, because I don't like to admit it).  I no longer have a private practice, but have now devoted my career to teaching people those personal financial planning skills you should have been taught in school - you know the ones:

• How to handle your money so you aren't living paycheck-to-paycheck, and enough money to save for your future
• How to get out of debt (which happens to most people because they missed the lesson on how to handle your money)
• How to invest - it is easier than you think, and necessary if you want to be able to retire, send your kids to college, buy a home without getting in over your head in debt, or to fulfill your dreams

Anyone who meets me knows this is more than a job, this is my passion!

For the past 2 years, I have been travelling throughout California teaching these skills to people.  I wish I could visit everyone personally, but I can't, so Financial Essentials has started putting my workshops on DVD and CD.

The most important piece of advice I can give you is, if you are already having money problems, don't get down on yourself...it isn't your fault!  Nobody taught you how to handle your money.  Money management is a skill, just like anything else.  Get yourself educated as soon as possible!!!
