I live in the post Katrina world and unemployed. My "real" job (when I have one) is Bookkeeping. Well, atleast I know how to keep track of my business! I am also an Artist. My first artistic passion was Watercolor. Then, pottery, then anything I could paint. Serveral years ago I found some cabinet doors on the side of the road and that's when I started painting "Found it on the Side of the Road" items.
I've started selling the family heirlooms on eBay to help with the bills. Then I realized maybe I could sell some of my artwork. I don't have any out there, yet, but will soon.

After Katrina, my neighbor needed a place to live. Her house was severely damaged. So, I got her. Her passion is collecting stray cats. Well, I went from a family of 4 kitties to being a foster Mom to as many as 20 at a time. There are alot of homeless kitties after Katrina!
Besides cats, my passions are gardening and birding. I plant mostly native plants for the birds, butterflies and bees. What peace I find in my garden.
