About Fine Watch Trading
Why should you purchase a pre-owned watch from fine watch trading? In addition to ensuring that all watches are legally obtained, we share more information about our watches than most sellers. Rather than use a percentage grade, or general grading words, we show you enormous resizable photos that allow you to see the watch from virtually every angle. In addition we share with you the testing information that we discover when we assess these watches. If you do decide to purchase from us, we will do our best to promptly ship your item, and make the transaction as stress free as possible. Questions are promptly answered by email.
How do we test Quartz Watches? All quartz accuracy tests are performed by a machine called the Witschi Q Test 6000. The watch is checked inside and out for authenticity. The battery is changed, and the watch is carefully resealed and pressure tested to manufacturer’s specifications. We only sell quartz watches that are performing within one second a day according to the Witschi Q Test 6000.
How do we test Automatic Watches? All automatic Movements are checked with a Witschi Watch Expert II The watch is tested in 5 positions for approximately 4 minutes in each position. The watch maker averages the results of each position to come up with an average, and notates the highest and lowest position result. The following are the results for this specific watch. The watch maker also inspects the inside and outside of each watch for authenticity. At the end of each inspection the watch is carefully resealed and pressure tested to manufacturer’s specifications.

- Payments accepted by Bank Wire Transfer for all amounts. Bank Information Provided upon request after a purchase.
- Most Domestic Shipping is performed by UPS. Rates are included the listings.
- International orders will be invoiced for customs at the sale price of the item. No exceptions.
- We will only ship to international destinations where we can purchase insurance through a major carrier. Most international shipping is done through Federal Express, while some items with a cost of under $600 can be sent by USPS EXPRESS Mail. While the cost will vary slightly depending on your location, for most parts of the world we charge between $50-70 dollars for insured delivery with Federal Express International. Expensive Items with high insurance buys will be closer to $100 dollars.
- Paypal is accepted to addresses covered by Advanced Seller Protection for amounts under $5,000. If we cannot receive the "OK to ship" message, Using Advanced Seller Protection then all payments must be made via bank wire.
- Buyers with less than 10 feedback must email and ask before bidding and say they have read and understand the listing rules
- Payment by Bank Wire is accepted on all listings.
- Buyer is responsible for any VAT, tax, customs, duty, and brokerage fees. These costs are separate from shipping quotes and are paid by the buyer. Please do not ask us to mark an item for a low amount, or to mark as a gift. We will not do this.
- The watch will promptly ship after we have received payment by paypal, or we have confirmed that we have received the bank funds in the account for a wire transfer.

All Watches come with a 30 day limited warranty from the date of receipt of watch. The Terms of Which are as follows.... We have chosen 30 days because it is a long enough period to ensure that the watches are working, and short enough that we do not have to raise the costs of our listings. As you can see, We provide a tremendous amount of detail in our listings about how our watches perform. While we do our best to provide an honest good faith assessment of the watches, your results and experiences may vary from the stated accuracy of each watch and minor variations in accuracy will not be covered by this warranty. For example, if our results show that an automatic watch tested on our machine at a + 5 second a day average with the highest position at +10 seconds a day, and you experience that the watch performs at +13 seconds a day this would not be covered under warranty. If however, your results are DRASTICALLY different than our test results, (in the same example you find your watch is gaining +25 seconds a day) we will adjust the watch under this 30 day warranty at no charge. This warranty does not cover bracelets, or crystals, but does cover batteries. The warranty does not cover any damage to the case, strap, or movement caused by moisture that might have entered the watch as a result of improper handling, nor does it apply if there is evidence of misuse or abuse. Be sure the crown is fully screwed down after adjusting for day, date or time to ensure water resistance. This warranty replaces any warranties implied by state law, including the implied warranty of merchantability, which are disclaimed. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages,so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
