MY GUARANTEE.
Unless otherwise stated the goods are sold with a 30 day repair or money back guarantee. ( 30 days from the date of purchase )
It is a firm condition of my guarantee that the item must be returned to me for inspection. The buyer must understand that the goods, ( the items as defined by eBay listing rules ) unless otherwise stated, are second-hand, and may show signs of previous use and some signs of wear. Unfortunately second-hand lenses almost always show some cleaning marks on the glass. These marks will be mentioned in my description unless in error they are overlooked.
All items are inspected, checked and tested by myself but they are tested with instruments and not by exposing film.
I run a test film through all the cameras I list to sell. I check the running speeds and the transport ( particularly single frame ) I have been working with Bolex cameras for many years and I know from visual inspect if the transport is correct.
My guarantee does not cover any loss of film, loss of production time, loss of earnings, or loss of revenue what-so-ever and applies only to the item listed. Repairs, if needed, will be undertaken by me in my workshop and are subject to the availability of spare parts, and subject to the buyer paying the postage and or freight one way.
I am careful and honest with my description of the items I sell and I will accept a return if my description proves to be substantially incorrect. I will also accept a return under exceptional circumstances. I expect the buyer to pay post and or freight. If you are unhappy with your purchase before doing anything please email me.
I hope many people will remember me from the days in England, both in Bristol and in Wembley. I had a workshop there for many years and I repaired and serviced Arriflex, Bolex, cameras and lenses as well as accessories.
I trust many people will remember me when I worked in production, in the camera department, mind you that was a long time ago, and many people will remember me when I worked on a number of feature films both as a video assist operator and a rushes projectionist. I hope those at Aardman ( Aztec west ) will remember my Magical Musical Moments as a prelude to rushes viewing each morning.

It was not my intention to set up a repair workshop again now that I living in Northern France but as I am now offering a repair guarantee on most of my sales I have had to do so. I am buying and selling motion picture equipment, in particular Bolex 16 mm, cameras and lenses, and of course any unusual item that comes my way.

During the years that I worked with and repaired cameras I gained a considerable amount of knowledge and I happy to help in any way that I can, whether it be what to buy and or how to use what you have got or just bought. I rather you didn't ask me to compare one model against another, the comparisons are endless, it depends too on what you want to do .. and of course how much money you have to spend.

Although this page is in English I am located in France and I list the postage accordingly. I use First Class Air mail unless the buyer requests otherwise. I can of course use DHL,UPS or Fedex.
Please no discussion or argument over postage charges, whereas you might live in a country where you consider postage charges are reasonable there is nothing I can do about them here.
If they are not acceptable please do not bid.
From time to time I might just offer a special deal on the post and freight, please look out for it.

For buyers in France or United Kingdom I will accept a personal cheque, in Euros or Pounds Sterling as appropriate. Please understand if you pay using a personal cheque I reserve the right to hold the item until the cheque is cleared.
I recommend that you insure valuable items in case they are damaged or lost. There would be additional charges.
