Hi. My name is David and I am the creator of Flashback Creations. I am also the designer of Front-Page Newspaper Collages. I started the World Championship Newspaper Collage division soon after the Red Sox won their first World Series in 86 years. It was such a special and historical moment for Red Sox fans; I decided to collect as many papers as possible to preserve the moment. So the morning after they won, I went to about 30 different stores around New England and collected as many local papers as possible. At the time, I collected about 10 local Newspaper and ordered a couple national ones. Now, what to do with all these papers? I wanted to preserve them, but framing all the individual newspapers would have cost a fortune, not to mention the amount of wall space they would have taken.  The idea came when I needed to buy my hard-to-shop for Dad a Christmas gift. I am a graphic-designer by nature so it was only logical to make a digital collage out of all the papers and put them into one print! Problem solved. I gave the collage to my Dad and it received such a great response from family and friends, I decided to make more and sell them at craft shows. The college now consists of over 30 local, national and international papers. . The process of design, collecting and obtaining rights can be a lengthy process, but now I create collages for each major national championship team, and to preserve the uniqueness of them, I limit the number of prints to only 500-1000 per team and sell them selectively through Ebay, Amazon, my own website, craft shows and very few retail stores.
