Our son was born on May 15, 2007 @8:03 a.m. His name is Chevy Jorge Leano Ele, a Taurus, like my daddy. Eighteen inches long, he weighed 6 pounds and 14 ounces. Chevy was also born with a front tooth.

We waited 12 years for this miracle - he is the light of my life -- i may not eat, sleep or shower for the next 18 years, but he's worth it!!

My parents, Jorge & Wilma, are the foundation of my life. Always there when I need them, don't even have to ask. I have always envy their devotion - oblivious to anyone else...it's a stunning symphony in motion. They still live in the home we all grew up in, bordering Fountain Valley and Huntington Beach. Fountain Valley will always be home to me.

Jorgette and her fiance, Randy, welcomed their son, Nicolas Jorge on December 5, 2006. Arielle Cay was born on April 10, 2008. Finally, a beautiful baby girl!! Are they done? Yes, I think so!!

The AIDS Education Global information System (AEGiS.org) is a nonprofit organization that was established in 1990 in response to the growing HIV/AIDS pandemic.

Our mission is twofold:

1. Facilitate access to current patient/clinician information, specific to HIV/AIDS via state-of-the-art technology.
2. Preserve for future generations a global history of the pandemic with our historical news and treatment database.

Since AEGiS' inception, it has matured into the largest free-access virtual AIDS library on earth. Today, AEGiS comprises more than 1,000,000 articles, covering the world from 1981 to the present, and logging more than 10,000,000 visitors annually.

To accomplish this, our small content staff of five scours the Internet daily for new acquisitions, sorts through our wire news-feeds, downloads HIV/AIDS publications and conference abstracts, in order to create an electronic format with HTML coding. In some cases we have created the first electronic version of these historical documents. The information acquired is processed into a fully-indexed, cross-referenced, and keyword searchable database, available via the World Wide Web, RSS, NNTP, and E-mail. In addition, individual queries are answered through a variety of e-communication lines, including our Ask the Doc forum.

On top of that, most technology used at AEGiS is purchased, built, and maintained to the highest standards in-house by our staff.

For nearly 20 years AEGiS has kept pace with HIV/AIDS social and clinical aspects.
