Cleaning out the Home Office & Archives
I have been in the construction industry and heavy equipment business for over 30 years. During that time I have accumulated a library of information from engineers, equipment manufacturers and associated businesses that I am ready to make available to those who can make use of it. My Caterpillar tractor handbooks, specifications, performance comparisons and novelties make up the bulk of my initial collection which I will be making available. A contractor's archives covering the last half century will also be made available in the near future as will other items of interests to those who collect construction industry memorabilia. I will have materials that cover Caterpillar, John Deere, Komatsu, Volvo, Terex, Kobelco, Case, HiPac, Barber-Greene, Dynapac, Grove and a number of O.E.M.s.
I will also have various items that may include automobiles, utility vehicles and who knows what else that may be uncovered in the garages, shops or barns of friends and customers.
For my entire adult life I have written down my thoughts and perceptions and am finally organizing them to publish as greeting cards, postcards and books. Every now and then I will be placing some of these items on e-bay as well as some of the cool craft projects my wife does so well.
