Hello fellow e-Bay-er’s!

My name is Monica. However, due to the many creative hats I have worn over the years, The Crafty Lady suits me best.

As a happily married mother of four and full-time employee in an office job for a bazillion years, I had always made time in my busy life to do what I love – SEW!

All of my children sported handmade clothing stitched with affection by their Mom, and many nieces and nephews over the years (and now my GRANDCHILDREN!) have benefited from the Crafty Fever I’ve been gripped by.

In 2004, I finally made the jump from hobby to business and started The Crafty Lady.

I focus on creating infant and toddler clothes in styles harking back to the days before short-short skirts, and way-too-casual dress. I find that more than one person has stopped me on the street to compliment me on my children’s or grandchildren’s clothing, due to the construction, design, or just plain cuteness of their outfits.

Currently, I am working to establish a new website, www.flybirdiefly.com. On my website there will be quite a few different patterns and designs available for purchase. However, I also create custom garments. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions, or ideas you may have for the youngster in your family.
