WHO IS FLYGIRL?

WELCOME TO FLYGIRL'S HANGAR!

Hi fellow eBayer's! If you've landed here, then you've come to a cool place! My name is Toni, and the name "flygirl" works for me, since I was a flight attendant for 33 years! I am now officially an ex-flygirl, since I retired in November of '98 which I guess makes me a homegirl:} But if I changed my name on eBay, no one would know me, so I guess flygirl is what it will stay.

I discovered eBay in February '98 and was addicted immediately! The first night that I was on eBay I watched the sun come up the next morning! My checkbook was in very poor shape in a very short time. I've always been a fashion junkie, and wanted all the wonderful things I found on eBay, especially in vintage clothing! I had two choices...throw the computer in the dumpster or buy a digital camera and start selling! (I reasoned that I could support my buying frenzy with selling)! I quickly learned that selling was as addictive as buying, and now I could buy cool stuff to sell on eBay that I "found", even if it wasn't my size or gender. My second bedroom in my small condo was turned into a closet for my own clothing a long time ago, so now the eBay stuff took over the living room! I'm having a ball though, while my friends are scratching their heads and wondering how I could possibly live in this mess!

I have more shoes than Imelda, and more clothes than some departments in Nordstrom's! I also have accumulated from eBay an extensive collection of vintage skiing books. I live in San Diego, and I'm currently studying to become an actor.

MY PASSIONS! Other than eBay, clothes and fashion..I am a zydeco dancer, and belong to a wonderful dance group in San Diego. Click on those zydeco links if you want to really know how to "pass a good time". I also love to ski, and I've skied for 43 years! (My knees are proof of that)! Sushi and acting are my other big passions, and I'm hoping to begin a new career as an actor, eventually. So there you are!
