Thank you for your interest in wanting to know about me.
My name is Dolly (real name is Dolores) I am also known as ‘Dee” in my full-time day job. I work for an art company where we sell Ceramic and Doll Supplies. Believe it or not, but I manage the Doll Supplies Department. I love everything that is art related since my goal in life was (or still is) to be a known artist, but still haven’t gotten there. I also dance Jazz which is a form of art. I have tried painting, ceramics, but I haven’t found my niche yet. Embroidery, however, is another form of art and I have been fortunate to be doing it for about 4 years. I was raised in San Francisco, graduated from Lowell High School and an alumnus of San Francisco State University, graduated with a BS in Business & Computing Systems. I now reside with my husband of 20 years and two teen daughters in Southern California.
My husband has worked in the aviation field for years; therefore most of my embroidery orders are related to airplanes. I do about 4 air shows a year mostly in Southern California. Besides embroidering aviation designs, I also embroider business logos, school apparel, etc. I am an authorized embroiderer for the International Women’s Pilot, the Ninety Nines Inc.
I have a client who owns a Smart Car which I eventually stitched for him. As a result of this job, I advertise my smart car embroidery in the SCOA forum and now in eBay to offer my unique embroidered apparels to interested smart car owners.
I treat my embroidered apparel as art so I find myself a perfectionist with my work. If you buy my embroidered product, it will certainly be a work of art, a conversation piece and people will admire it. You’ll see.
I'm a one woman embroidery home-based shop so I will work with you to make sure your custom embroidery is just the way you want it. I do everything from taking the orders, embroidering your shirt, pressing, packing, and then shipping. I treat my customers the way I want to be treated so I make sure you receive quality embroidered product(s) as well as professional service.
My embroidery business is part-time and I will work with you to get your orders when you need them. I tried working full-time, but I miss working with people too much.
Please let me know if I can assist you with your embroidery needs. If you have any questions, please call me at 909-865-3576 or better yet (to avoid phone tags), email me dolly@flyingmachineembroidery.com.
I have an amazing website which you can view anytime. It’s www.flyingmachineembroidery dot com.
THANK YOU FOR VISITING ME & I hope to hear from you soon.
All My Best,
Dolly Acosta Maufras, Owner
