Foose Cookie Cutters
Foose Cookie Cutters is a family business started by my grandfather, Horman O. Foose. Beginning in the early 1970's, with my grandmother by his side, Horman's focus was mainly on chandeliers, sconces, pierced lanterns, and of course cookie cutters. Today's cookie cutters differ slightly from those to made in the past.
Previously, the cutters had full backs and a handle with the ability to be made into any design requested. Today, our cutters are backless and without handles. We feel this change was necessary to give you, our customer, the largest selection available.
In 1997, Horman sadly passed away, leaving my grandmother and the rest of the family to continue on with a craft he once considered just a hobby. With almost 30 years of dedication to the business of tin cookie cutters, my grandmother, Maria passed away.
Today, Foose Cookie Cutters is still a family run business consisting of my mother, step-father and sister. In order to meet demand for our craft, we do employ many local retirees as well as stay-at-home moms. We simply could not do it alone.
Our main purpose with Foose Cookie Cutters, is to push forward with all of the knowledge passed down to us from my grandfather and grandmother. We hope that you agree that we are continuing on with the tradition of Foose Cookie Cutters being of the finest quality and craftsmanship.
From Our Family to Yours!
Happy Baking!
