Hello My name is Laura, a married, Housewife and mother for just over 9 years now. I began selling on ebay in 2003, while I was home with my two little boys, now 8 and 12 years olds! I have been selling on eBay for 6 yrs now! I truly enjoy it and the ability to be home with my now 5 children. Ebay has always been enjoyable to me, a fun way to make a full time living. As I spent a good 4 yrs with an average of 40 listings a week at all times, including a store. I have slowed my sales down a bit lately to enjoy the rewards of just being a mom! I began a whole new career and interest when I found ebay in 03, Our home life changed greatly. The income was excellent for something I loved so much! After ventures with Avon, MK and other non-successfull home Business, ebay and I hit it off great and I have never looked back! Also, Ebay is a great resource for keeping my kids in the latest fashion. My personal favorite clothing comes from Gymboree. My daughters are becoming uninterested in it now though. So, now I am into the boys as my youngest looks adorable in it! I do love a good boutique brand and Euro clothing, although I often pass up those types of clothing because it is not cost effective, with a tight budget and the wear the kids would put on such a high dollar items. So, I am a frugal shopper, I love outlets, Gap, Old Navy, Burlington Coat factory and Ross. Although, I can not justify spending hundreds of dollars on such quickly used clothing, You still will not find them wearing/or me selling MART brands, so all items I sell will be of quality and value especially for the price!
My Future with ebay, as in the resent past I had slowed down to a crawl. Dealing with some personal family issues, and an inner battle with some of ebays newest changes. Yet, My sales on ebay are about to become the most exciting & fun sales I have ever done! My children are growing up so fast! My last three were born after I began here on ebay and now my girls are attending school this year. Four of my children are in school during the day giving me much more time for ebay. I have a precious newborn in the house born 11/26/2009 so my hands are free a bit more then years past so I plan to begin a full time 100+ listing per week average. Ebay had always been so fun and rewarding for me and my children, but I have slowed it down a bit to enjoy the time spent with my kids! Now with the free time I will have, a first in 11 yrs, I can't wait to get back at this! So, add me to your favorites, as I list gently used clothing and all other finds at below ebay market price! I ship twice a week and I don't charge high handling fees, I keep my business personal and friendly. Always, open for some girl talk, ebay chat, or just good customer care!!
I should share my sales practice and what to expect from me. First, there isn't any amount of problem that can not be fixed! Just give me a email jingle and we can always work out any given issue! I am fair, honest and easy to get a hold of. I am easy to reach in email, but would never mind a personal phone call! As I have trust and faith in all of my customers as well! My feedback and stars are very important to me, as I'd like future customers to see, I am a serious ebayer. If I do have a mishap I also want my fb to reflect that I am more then willing to keep my customers coming back for more!
I ship stwice a week minimum, often daily. I can not ship on Sundays but I am able to on Saturday! Although, I must admit unless I am running errands I will not run to the post office for less then 3 packages. I ship first class mail to keep shipping cost as low as possible, and clearly lower then most other sellers. I will ship priority mail for all items over 1lb and of course if any customer needs things in a hurry. Also, I do not use paypal mailing labels or carrier pick up. Your items are delivered to the post office and hand stamped by my clerk, with the date package was mailed and your actual shipping cost. No hidden profit for me!
My items are washed prior to listing. They are washed once again just prior to mailing to keep them fresh and clean. All items are washed in cold, and yes they will be dried. Very sorry but with ebay and a family of 7 I do about 20 loads of laundry a week. I do not have the time to line dry anything. If items have some fade this will be noted, if it has heavy fade it probably wont even be listed. All flaws will be mentioned. Note, my idea of flaws are rips, tears and stains, discolorations, including grease/water markings, broken zippers or snaps. (Although keep in mind, flaws that make the item unusable in my opinion will not even be listed in most cases) Now Typical wash wear and signs the items is USED as it is sold as used will not be spoke of in detail, other then the condition being marked as Good, very good, excellent condition. My sales are strictly used clothing. So please expect they have been worn and washed at least once prior to the listing being posted.
Items will be mailed neatly folded in zip-lock bags. Unless it is a large item or a large lot. My items are stored in my smoke and pet free office in rubbermaid tubs. Each item will need to be pressed once it has been received. Also, take a moment to look over your items and then please leave Feedback for me. If you are not 100% satisfied return the item for a full refund. Take a moment to send me a note about the returning item and your dissatisfaction so I can make sure I do not leave that information out when I post it for auction in the future. You are also welcome to contact me for any other issue you are not completely happy with being it my shipping cost, my listings, anything that wasn't favorable, and if nothing more it can be a tip for better business. I will stop learning when I am dead, and I am always open minded to new advise! Never hessitate to tell me what you think I could improve on!! If I am to be a success in any area of life, I know I have more to learn always! If you felt over charged on shipping please let me know. I do not have high handling fees. I do not expect to make money off shipping costs. If I HAVE Please contact me, and the amount will be refunded. I combine shipping, and I ship so many packages at a given time, I am not able to check each package to make sure yours was exactly as I quoted/charged. If I grossly charged to much, JUST let me know. I keep my receipts and can double check for you and the refund will be sent. I am a buyer as well, most auctions are a turn off as sellers charge so much on shipping, now days! $8 shipping for a 2T shirt?! So, I am not interested in turning away customers by being unfair and take the fun out of finding bargains by over charging in the shipping!
I am a Buyer as much as a seller, ebay is a great resource to keep my kids closets full. So, I know what I like, I know what I expect and I really understand the frustrations of shopping on ebay! Be asured, I personally try to my best to avoid having any customer finding a transaction with me, anything less then the best, most reliable, fast shipping, low cost REASONABLE shipping prices and great deals on all items, with no hidden surprises!
