Current Auction on Ebay
The Forstle Card Shop consistently runs around 100 - 200 auctions
on Ebay at all times (unless we are going on vacation). To check out
the current auctions we have click the following link: Ebay Auctions by Forstle.
Card Grading System
We try to be very fair about the grading of our cards. You will never see an auction for a MINT card. If we feel that
MINT is warranted, we will denote that auction with a NM+ rating. The following table explains the grading scale used for
our auctions (whiting applies to BB cards only):
| NM+ |
Because we don't classify cards as MINT, this means that the card is unplayed, there are no scratchs on
the the front or back of the card, and all edges do not contain any "whiting" or "dents". |
| NM |
This card may have been played but there is no visual evidence of it. At most there is 1-4 "whiting" points on the
edges. WB cards may have slight "blacking" but nothing very noticable. The back of this card should not have any wear. |
| NM- |
This card may have been played but there is no visual evidence of it. At most there is 5-10 "whiting" points on the
edges. WB cards may have slight "blacking" but not very much. The back of this card may have slight wear but nothing very noticable. |
| EX |
This card may have been played and there may be slight visual evidence of it. The border has noticable "whiting" points and/or
"blacking". The back of this card may have slight wear around the edges. |
| VF |
This card most likely has been played and there is visual evidence of it. The border has noticable "whiting" points and/or
"blacking". The back of this card may have up to one corner that is noticably worn. |
| F |
This card most likely has been played and there is visual evidence of it. The border has noticable "whiting" points and/or
"blacking". The back of this card may have more than one corner that is noticably worn. |
| G |
This card most likely has been played and there is visual evidence of it. These cards may have creases
or cuts in them, but otherwise are in NM/EX condition. The border may have noticable "whiting" points and/or
"blacking". The back of this card may have up to two corners that are noticably worn. |
| P |
This card is playable but is not worthy of a decent grading. |
Auction Shipping and Handling Rates
( Singles - Less than 10 cards )
Standard shipping rates for Ebay auctions are: $1.60 for the first auction and $0.40 for each additional auction. We always
ship our cards in bubble mailers and use a combination of soft sleeves and top loaders to ensure that the cards are protected
in transit. NOTE: Some auctions have non-standard S/H and those rates are listed in the S/H table of each auction.
( Lots - Greater than or equal to 10 cards )
The packing methods are the same as for Singles auctions: Bubble mailers, soft sleeves, top-loaders; however boxes will be
used if the quantity of cards requires. Shipping and handling rates are on a per auction basis and can always be found
within the auction text as S/H for "THIS AUCTION" and S/H if "COMBINED". If you win multiple auctions, you will take the HIGHEST
"THIS AUCTION" S/H rate of all auctions and then for every other auction use the "COMBINED" S/H rate. If the auction states
that "COMBINED S/H NOT AVAIL!", that means that the S/H fees are fixed and are added together if multiple auctions of this
type are won.
Insurance (United States Addresses Only)
Insurance is charged at a rate of $1.50 for the first $50 and $1.50 per $50 if the insured amount is over $50.00.
Insurance is only available for shipping addresses in the United States. Warning: If you send an insurance payment with your auction
payment and you do not have a United States shipping address, your fees will NOT be returned.
Payment Options and Instructions
PayPal:
Make ONE payment for all of your auctions combined! If you
do not, your payments will be refunded and you will be informed of the
amount you need to re-send. Send payments to: thomas@forstle.com.
BidPay:
Want to skip a trip to the Post Office? We accept BidPay as a valid form
of payment. See bottom of this page for address to send them to.
Money Orders, Concleaed Cash:
Send me your address via e-mail! I use an address label printer and to avoid mistakes I
copy and paste addresses that are e-mailed to me rather than try to read everyone's
handwriting. Concealed Cash is sent at your own risk! See bottom of this page for
address to send them to.
Checks:
Personal checks accepted from bidders with over 50 feedback only.
49 feedback doesn't count because it's less than 50 (duh!). I reserve the right to
wait until a check clears before sending anything. See bottom of this page for
address to send them to.
Our Feedback Policy
Ebay Feedback System
I use a very strict schedule when I leave feedback on Ebay based on when payment is recieved after End of Auction (EoA). Below is a table that shows you exactly what type of feedback
that you will get if win a Forstle Card Shop auction:
Payment Recieved X Days after EoA Payment Speed Rating Feeback Disposition |
1 - 5 A+ Positive |
6 - 10 A- Positive |
11 - 15 B+ Positive |
16 - 20 B- Positive |
21 - 25 C Positive |
26 - 30 D Neutral |
31+ F+ Negative |
What this means is that people that pay via PayPal or BillPoint right away or within 5 days
will get an A+ Payment Speed Rating left in their feedback. People that pay with Money Orders
typically will end up with an A- or B+ if they are on top of their auction winnings.
Non-Paying Bidder Alerts (NPB Alert)
If we have not recieved payment 10 days after EoA, we will file a Non-Paying Bidder Alert regardless if you have informed me if you
have sent payment or not. Why do we do this? Because if you lied to us or just haven't sent payment it allows for us to
obtain a refund from Ebay as soon as possible for Final Auction Value fees for the incomplete auction. If you have not contacted
us within 10 days after the NPB Alert has been issued, we will issue a request for Final Value Credit (VFC) from Ebay. To
understand what this means, this is a quote from the Ebay web site regarding request for VFC:
"Once you submit this Final Value Fee Credit Request Form, the high bidder will receive an email from eBay and may receive a Non-Paying Bidder Warning, which may result in the suspension of that user's account."
Typically if you get three of these your account is automatically suspended until one of the FVCs are removed by a seller using the Non-Paying Bidder Warning Removal form.
Your Satisfaction is Very Important!
Please try to work out any disputes or issues with me BEFORE leaving neutral or negative feedback. Things like missing cards,
are easy to resolve. Please keep in mind that I photograph ALL products AND the package they are shipped in before they leave
the store. So missing card claims better be REAL or else you are going to find yourself staring at a picture of your shipment
and banned as a bidder to the rest of my auctions.

A Word about SquareTrade
I am an avid SquareTrade member and I vigorously fight any negative feedback left on my account. There are only two negative
feedback ratings that I have and those came from a long time ago, before I knew about SquareTrade. I couldn't even tell
you off the top of my head why they left negative feedback. Any negative feedbacks on my account above those two you can
assume are in current negotiations via SquareTrade.
