ABOUT FORTUNESDAUGHTER
I sell fine art and handsome, high end, vintage and new china, crystal, silver and other decorative objects that are accurately described and priced, carefully packed and promptly delivered. I'm proud of my many repeat customers!

I've worked in architecture, academics, design, filmmaking, bookselling,and, most important ... childrearing.

I am passionate about what I list. Of course, there is the occasional white elephant that I look at and say, Why did I ever buy that? Or the piece that I have to sell simply because I am running out of space in my humble digs. But I take my work seriously and love both the research that goes into identifying and valuing the piece AND the pleasure of communicating with new and repeat customers. I loved being a retail merchant (I was a bookseller) and recently remarked to a client that Ebay is the fun of retail without the pain of standing all day in high heels. So, explore my store, ask me questions, enlighten me on the origin of my merchandise if you feel I've made a mistake, and happy bidding!
