Antique Military Photography


I'm Czech collector of antique military photography and postcards of Austro-Hungarian empire 1860-1918, Czechoslovak legion 1914-1920 and former Czechoslovak army 1918-1938. My great-grandfather were a infantry "Feldwebel" of K.u K. Landsturmmarschbataillon Nr.2 / 4. Kompagnie with Great silver bravery medal I. class, Bronze bravery medal II. class and Military memorial medal.

My homepage is specialised on collection of more than 2500 authentic unpublished military & civilian pictures and postcards. You can find here facts about Austro-Hungarian imperial army, Czechoslovak legion during Great War and facts about "young" Czechoslovak army between years 1918-1925. In the year 2008 these pages become a part of Czech cultural heritage. With the cooperation with National Library of the Czech Republic the content is archived several times a year and will stay the same, even if the pages operation would be finished. The pages rank among The Czech national Bibliography as an integral part of National Library catalogue.
