My name is Tom and I am the owner of this small Ebay business called Space Station Video Games. It was started about a year and a half ago, but originally the store was called Sunken Treasures. Sunken Treasures sold items from posters to sports card to action figures and more, but I felt that the store should have some focus, so the name was changed to Space Station Video Games. The products sold also changed. We focused on selling video games and accessories, especially the new Wii items. Also added were computer software and some electronic items, and even some DVD and Blu-Ray movies and videos. We created a flashy logo and got a cool template to put into our listings. Since these many changes were made, sales have climbed.
Right now I do this part time, and it is great coming into contact with some really great customers. My full time job is as a fireman. The hours as a firefighter are very good so it gives me considerable time to work on this little Ebay business. Of course all the boys in the firehouse now know about this site and rib me about it, but it is all in good fun.
To give you a little more background on me, I also finished serving a 6 year term in the USMC Reserves. Before that I worked in a hospital clinic and before that I got a 4 year degree in Psychology from Fordham University. I originally planned to be a psychologist but being a fireman and fighting fires was in my blood. Go figure. I currently live in Whitestone with my fiancee. Anyway it is always a pleasure to meet new ebayer not only from all over the country, but from all over the world. I has been great so far and I look forward to hearing from you.
