fpsarchives @ 24 FRAMES PER
SECOND:
That's fpsarchives, as in 24 frames per second
(fps), the average speed
at which film is run . . .
fpsarchives has enjoyed seven
years as a successful seller on eBay auctions & some three years as a popular eBay
featured store. Our accent is on movie memorabilia (silent film items included),
with a healthy nod toward theatre, television and an occasional radio
item or two. Our entertainment inventory is vast and contains photos; posters; lobby cards; press books & press
kits (especially of the 1970s-80s); biographies, autobiographies & general
entertainment books; fan & industry magazines (1900s-80s); programs; heralds; post
cards -- plus miscellaneous other entertainment memorabilia (read: history) . . .
fpsarchives also features
non-entertainment 20th century vintage collectibles & 21st century
would-be future collectibles -- from Advertising items to Zebras
-- the latter only if can find them, of course. We have Disney items, toys,
bears, jewelry (costume). There's pottery & glass, as per studio pottery
and signed items the likes of Western Germany, Occupied Japan, and on occasion Cowan, Red
Wing and similarly desirable signed pieces; Pressed Glass, Cut Glass, Italian
(Murano) and festive colored glass. View, too, our non-entertainment categories of post
cards, cabinet cards, tin-types, timeless clothing and books.
We love books -- novels, non-fiction, biographies, memoirs & cookbooks
--and magazines covering general news, World War II, government, sports,
fashions, reviews, fads & celebrities of the past 100 years & in between (Life,
Time, Look, Saturday Evening Post, etc.). Our 20th & 21st Century section
has an eclectic to just-plain-weird mix of items for collecting & gift-giving. With
the the limited, albeit a generous 20, categories eBay allows stores, we sometimes are
unable to categorize exactly. Hence, we suggest you take the time to whip through each
category. Doubtless, you'll find collectible cross-overs in each. AND, as we always
provide photos for everything we list, you can enjoy a catalogue-like, visual trip
through fpsarchives' often unique and always enjoyable
inventory . . .
fpsarchives store begins with a
miscellaneous general SALE category with generous mark-down prices. The last
category is titled HIGH END for varied discerning antiques and collectibles (very
special entertainment items in the mix here). Both Sale & High End
categories are worth checking out regularly . . .
fpsarchives
does, indeed, consist of wondrous things, each of
which had a life or two before we came to it -- and, remember, if it's not an
original, if it has a flaw, been repaired, reprinted, or re-struck our description will
tell-all to the best of our ability . . .
We believe
that eBay auctions & stores should be fun. To that end, we invite you to check out fpsarchives
listings and see for yourself.
