Frazzled
Fashions was started for the love of two unique fashions styles:
Rockabilly & Gothic. Completely different from one another,
but equally as appealing.

Rockabilly
is inspired by the classic look of the 50's... and there seems to be no
agreement upon what the official definition of "Rockabilly
Style" is. From high glamour to greaser, from 50's rocker to
Betty Crocker, and of course, the Pin Up Girl look ~ all of these styles
and more are embraced by the term "Rockabilly". What can
be agreed upon however, is that its *hot*. There are no popular
styles that flatter the feminine figure quite like that classic 50's
look does; with the bust hugging sweaters, high waisted pencil skirts,
sex kitten capri pants, and flamboyant circle skirts, its impossible not
to ooze sexy. Favored fabrications include gingham and classic
polyester, rich with prints from yesterday... cherries, anchors, polka
dots, and of course classic red and black.
Gothic,
on the other hand, takes its inspiration mainly from the romantic
Medieval and Renaissance periods of western Europe. Certain
aspects of Gothic styled clothing are every bit as flattering as
Rockabilly is... with the cinched waist corset tops, curve hugging
leather, and seemingly dangerous stiletto pumps, one can't help but
demand an approving glance (or 10). Heavier fabrication is often
present in Gothic styles; velvet, baroque satin, and thick leather are
among many of the staples in a Gothic woman's closet. Black: is
the color of choice, but don't be mistaken, you'll find plenty of rich
jewel tones, striped stockings, and the occasional shocking neon
accoutrement.
