Thank you for visiting our little piece of ebay. We are a little Mom and Pop outfit based about 15 minutes west of Richmond, Virginia. My name is George and my wife is Nina. I am in charge of procurement and listing. Nina handles packing and shipping. We have been selling on ebay since 2002. During that period we have sold everything from baby clothes to automobiles. We do consignment work in addition to selling our own items.

We are constantly adding new inventory so please visit often at Fred Sanford Returns.

We sell new items, consignment, and many older garage sale and flea market items. In the case of consignment items, we do not scrutinize the Consignor's history to determine if they smoke now or quit five years ago. Used items may have been in an attic or basement for a long time, paper, cloth, and cardboard items can retain odors. When we acquire items by purchase or consignment we clean them up as best we can (if needed) without causing any damage and describe them to the best of our ability in the listing. We are real people with a baby and the proud owners of a cat, dog, and billy goat (the goat lives outside). It is a very real possibility that a wayward dog or cat, hair or dander might come into contact with an item we are selling or packing. We truly value your business, but if you have an aversion to the above please do not bid on our auctions.

FAQ / Terms of Sale

When An Auction Is Won or Store Purchase Made

Please make contact within 24 hours via email, checkout, or payment. Payment is expected within ten days of auction's close / store purchase. In certain cases, a deposit is required within three days of auction's close. Please review auction listings for details. Payments not received within ten days will result in item being relisted, bidder / buyer being reported via the UPI process. Please, Please do not bid / purchase if you do not intend to complete the transaction.

Payment Methods

We gladly accept PayPal. With International purchases we accept Paypal. If your country does not have PayPal, please contact us via eBay email.

Domestic Shipping

We make a trip to the Post Office and UPS every day Monday thru Friday and often on Saturday. Once payment for an item is received it is generally shipped that day or the next working day, freight items take a little longer to prepare for shipping.

We ship all manner of items ranging in weight from just a few ounces to several thousand pounds. Items weighing up to five pounds are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Books and other qualifying items are shipped via USPS Media Mail some of these packages weigh over five pounds. To qualify for Media Mail the item may NOT have advertizing in the publication by another vendor. Media Mail is appealing cost wise, but can take 2 plus weeks for delivery, if you desire Priority mail rates please contact customer service for a quote. Please do not ask us to ship non qualifying items via Media Mail.

Items over five pounds are shipped via UPS Ground.

Local Pickups-By appointment only.

International Shipping

We are pleased to ship internationally, but please be aware international shipment charges are significantly higher than U.S. shipping charges, and that delivery times vary from a week to several weeks(we do the best we can by getting the items off quickly, but we have no control over the the various Postal Services and their delivery schedules). Flat rate shipping posted in the auction and store listings is for U.S. shipping only.

If you are a buyer from outside the U.S. please wait for an invoice before making payment. Payments that are sent without an invoice and are not correct will be returned and an invoice will be sent to you for correct payment. International items less than four pounds are shipped USPS First Class International, items over four pounds are shipped USPS International Priority Mail. Upon request we are pleased to provide rates for USPS Global Express. We are not responsible for any imposed customs fees, tariffs, or taxes. Please do not ask us to falsify Customs Forms.

Freight Shipping

We offer competitive shipping rates on freight items. When you purchase a freight item, unless otherwise notified, you will be invoiced the next working day with all applicable charges. For buyers who wish to make their own shipping arrangements, we can pack the item for a fee. Our loading dock is accessible to major carriers.

Insurance

Domestic: Insurance is included in the cost of shipping for UPS items. For items shipped via USPS the rates are as follows coverage up to $50.00 is $1.70 each additional $100.00 coverage is $1.00. Insurance is optional, but we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in shipping so please consider shipping insurance seriously.

International: In most instances tracking and or insurance is not available for international shipments. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in shipping. Our liability ends once the item is shipped.

Handling Charges

A charge of approximately $2.50 is added to shipping to help defray the cost of tape, packing materials, Delivery Confirmation, etc. On flat rate shipping the handling charge is included and often less than the above stated $2.50. On larger auto and freight items the handling charge may be higher.

Returns

The vast majority of the items we sell are consignment, used, estate, yard sale, auto salvage, and liquidation items. Because of the age, and in the case of liquidation items the price, these items are sold AS IS ALL SALES FINAL, meaning no returns except in the rare instance that the item was grossly misdescribed in the auction or store listing. Those instances will be taken on a case by case basis. AS IS ALL SALES FINAL items are noted in the individual listings. We encourage bidders to ask questions before bidding.

Electronic items come with a non DOA warranty meaning the are guaranteed not to be Dead On Arrival.

All other items can be returned within three days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price, shipping fees are non refundable.
