OK, I got started making jewelry in kind of a strange way! I'm good at repairing things, and several friends asked me to repair their watches and jewelry.
One day I started making some jewelry for myself. Then my friends asked me to make them jewelry, too. That's when I started to design and create custom jewelry. I still greatly enjoy making truly custom pieces for people, and I offer that service here on ebay!
Before opening my ebay store, I sold my jewelry at juried craft shows (you have to compete to get a booth at the show). I did demonstrations of making jewelry at the shows, by repairing people's older jewelry and making custom pieces to order (people could watch their custom jewelry being made for them).
My jewelry business has blossomed, and now I offer a fine selection of gemstone with sterling silver jewelry. I go to gem and mineral shows to find the best gemstones available. In my store you will find casual styles made with natural gemstone chips or nuggets, and dressier styles made with gemstone beads.
I love what I do. And some day I will catch up with listing all of my pieces on ebay!
