About my cabs....I am a firm believer in using what I got to the best I can. And though I have learned to filter and grade materials better over time. I still believe though that an interesting stone is better than and pretty stone. Though I try to contain that within all my stones to both end, I don always and prefer not working in highly trendy material. Though there are types like Tiffany Stone and Pink Opal which I do enjoy and you will catch a tiger eye or too from time to time. So never hesitate to ask my about cutting material or what can or can not be done. Weather I can do it, refer you to someone who can, or the interests is too great and you must ask. Remember, no question is a stupid question.

I cut all stone by freehand and use no templates or guides when slabing, performing, and grinding the whole stone. I believe in natural freeform and to use the maximum amount of the slab or rough. There no waste in my book, or at least not much in all stones. I also don use dop sticks so to get the full feel the stone when cutting and though it may sound corny to allot of folks. I do this because I cut each stone with love for the stone and the new future owner. As I keep very few of my cuts for myself.

All stones are polished to a 50,000 diamond paste, and polished using a special mixture. Please note though, as stated above. Some stones for sale may not have the best polish because the stone is far to interesting to sell as a specimen, and because of a mixture of inherent porous quality, not all stones polish the same. I don use sealers unless upon requests for certain stones. And if I did use a sealer or treatment to a stone, it would be noted when for sale.

I specialize in picture jasper and my favorite would have to be Blue Mountain Jasper from Oregon.

I am looking still to find a teacher to work under that can show me more in-depth skills on stone cutting. I would really like to learn traditional cutting techniques, even ones that were used before the invention of electricity. It may prove long and hard, but interesting none the less.
