I have been in the Antique and Real Estate business in NH for 25 plus years. As you know, when buying or selling real estate there is always a bunch of stuff to be sold or disposed of. Although I am a licensed NH auctioneer I also use ebay in order to sell some of the harder to place items. Cleaning out barns and attics here in New England can be overwhelming as Yankees seldom throw anything away. From scraps of old boards to bent hand wrought nails, iron hinges, boxes and trucks stuffed full and tucked under the eaves the finds are endless. As in any good auction, I start my items at a fraction of what I feel they are worth and let them sell. Many items go for fair market value but I do have a lot that sells for what I would say was a real bargain. When I go to a sale, I go to get a buy, I expect many of you feel the same. Whether the item goes high or low rest assured that I am glad you were the high bidder and I will get it off to you just as fast as possible.
